Explore Lefkada

Lefkada is part of the Eptanisa complex and it is located in the west side of Greece. About 23.000 people live there permanently. The mountainous places with lush vegetation in combination with the impressive beaches of the island make it an outstanding place for vacation.

Moreover, the easy access to the island across a floating bridge which connects it to the land has made it a favorite summer destination. Its white sand beaches are famous worldwide because of their turquoise sea, the steep cliffs that hang over the shore and the big waves during the windy days. To name a few, Egkremni, Porto Katsiki, Kathisma and Mylos.

Lefkada is an ideal destination for those who love nature and outdoor sport activities, as it offers hiking, paragliding, scuba diving, sailing, windsurf or mountain bike. The visitor can explore the mountainous as well as the seaside villages of Lefkada following scenic routes through green untouched nature. The town of Lefkada offers wonderful strolls in picturesque alleys and several options for nights out and gastronomic pursuits.

For sunset lovers, follow the route to the west side of the island and watch how the sun disappears into the deep blue Ionian sea. Lefkatas Cape is located at the southern point of the island. The breathtaking view and the waves that hit the white cliffs of the cape create a wild beauty scenery that visitors stare into with awe.
